History
Where It All Began
In July 2018, I had the privilege of joining a mission team to South Africa, my second international mission trip. During that time, we witnessed the beauty, resilience, and strength of the South African people — along with the real challenges they face daily.
Hearing that broke my heart. Something as natural as menstruation was forcing young women to stay home, fall behind academically, and lose confidence in their worth and potential. According to the 2011 South African Census, of approximately 1,090 girls aged 10–25, nearly 503 were not attending school.
“As long as I am able, lack of access to sanitary supplies will never be the reason a girl misses school.”
That moment planted the seed for Created by His Design — a ministry built on faith, compassion, and action. Since then, our mission has expanded globally to empower girls through training, discipleship, and holistic support, ensuring that every girl knows she is fearfully and wonderfully made.
